Decided to hike up the longmynd after hearing reports that there were some good patches of snow on the top.
The road wasn't passable early on so I hiked up with snowboard and 15m strike - boy was I knackered when I reached the top!
Got the kite launched in very lumpy winds and yes there was a little snow up there - it was pretty poor conditions wise but i had a great time and managed to get the kite to pull me uphill, which I was well impressed with.
I can see it being fantastic given the right conditions and it presents you with a whole heap of new problems, like trying to get your bindings done up whilst watching the kite!
